“He talks about racism in 2018”
American basketball superstar LeBron James responded to the recent criticism of the famous striker of the Italian Milan team Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
After criticizing Zlatan Ibrahimovic, the Swedish star of the Milan football team, he responded to the political activities of LeBron James, the American basketball superstar, the Lakers player.
“I will never keep quiet about things that are wrong,” LeBron James told a news conference after his side’s 102-93 victory over Portland in the NBA. I talk about people, social justice, racial discrimination, and equality because I am part of this community. I have a group of 300 students in my school who are growing and moving in the same community and need a voice. I am their voice and society. My duty is to the whole world.
The Lakers superstar continued: “I just can’t stick to sports, because I know that through sports, my voice will be stronger.
“It’s funny,” LeBron James said in response to Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s remarks. “He (Zlatan) said in 2018 that he would not be noticed in Sweden because of his last name (Ibrahimovic), which does not look like the Swedes. He talks about racism. I spoke from the point of view of my intellectual mind. He chose a bad person to attack because I do my job anyway.”
Zlatan Ibrahimovic told the Swedish media in 2018: “I am sure that if my family was Anderson or Asonson, all the media would have defended me. This is about racism. I am not saying it is racism, but it is done under the guise of racism.”
