The 47-year-old Sulsshire, who played for Manchester United from 1996 to 2007 and said goodbye to football with the team jersey, replaced Jose Mourinho at Manchester United in December 2018 and, after a good start at the club, signed a contract in March 2019. He signed a three-year contract with the club and his contract was finalized.

The Norwegian coach led the Red Devils to third place in the Premier League last season, and his team managed to win the Champions League quota without much chance.

His team has not had a bad start in the Premier League this season, despite being eliminated in the group stage of the Champions League, and is currently second in the Premier League standings with 45 points, five behind leaders Manchester City, who have played one game less. Points differ.
