Carvajal stayed at home for a month and a half
An injury to Real Madrid’s Spanish right back will keep him out for another month and a half.
Real Madrid defender Dani Carvajal, who was injured in Sunday night’s game against Valencia in the 25th minute and had to leave the pitch, will be able to return to the pitch for at least another month and a half. It will not be a game. The first reports from club sources indicate that Carvajal suffered a hamstring injury to his right leg and is currently conducting tests to determine the injury.
The Spaniard will miss both of his side’s return matches against Atalanta in the round of 16 of the Champions League. The goal of Real Madrid’s medical staff is to bring Carvajal to the second El Clasico of the season, which will be held on April 11 at the Alfredo Di Stéfano Stadium. Earlier in the game, Carvajal will miss Real Madrid against Valladolid, Real Sociedad, Celta Vigo in La Liga, and Atalanta in the Champions League.
Given how difficult the injuries are, he is unlikely to be able to help his side in the return leg.
Lucas Vazquez is now ready to play in Zizo’s right-back position, with injuries to Odriozola and Militao and the fact that Nacho is playing well in the absence of center back in the absence of Ramos.
